Profile

Tyron is an experienced physiotherapist with a strong interest in both sporting injuries and spinal management. Ty is currently working with the Williamstown football club in the VFL and as a consultant Physiotherapist for the Victorian Baseball Development Academy. Working in these high level sports Ty has developed advanced skills in assessing and managing a variety of injuries but particularly shoulders and knees.

Injury risk reduction is very important to Ty which includes good spinal care, core strengthening, specific injury prevention exercises and training load monitoring during the season. Ty has also spent a lot of time managing neck and back injuries that are caused from a variety of reasons including sport, work, posture and home life. Early assessment, diagnosis, treatment and then long term management strategies are all important for good spinal care.

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy - La Trobe
