Profile
Stacey Cherry is an experienced Sports physiotherapist with an outstanding clinical reputation managing a varied patient population. Stacey provides comprehensive management of musculoskeletal pain, sporting injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation using detailed assessment and management programs to optimise patient outcomes.
Stacey’s clinical approach uses a variety of treatment modalities including Clinical Pilates, dry needling, real-time ultrasound and advanced exercise prescriptions to obtain the best results for her patients. Stacey aims to ensure all patients reach their best possible level of function as quickly as possible.
Stacey is currently the head Physiotherapist for a junior dance development academy which involves coordinating the injury management and strength and conditioning for over 130 dancers. Stacey has completed internships at the Australian Ballet Company and the National Institute of Circus Arts which has further enhanced her expertise in the area of dance physiotherapy. Stacey has also completed a number of post-graduate qualifications in the area of dance physiotherapy allowing her to provide quality dance specific rehabilitation to her patients. This includes pre-pointe assessment and dance musculoskeletal screening.
Outside of work Stacey enjoys spending time with her two little girls and family as well as keeping active and sports.
