With the New Year fast approaching the media will be buzzing with new dietary trends & unique fads to help you shed those unwanted Christmas calories.

However, it’s important to remind yourself that no two individuals are the same and dieting or ‘clean eating’ can be socially isolating, depressing and down right boring! Listening to your appetite is a great substitute for calorie counting & allows you to eat freely and happily without making sacrifices or feeling guilty.

The key to getting back into shape after festive feasting is really very simple and should be realistic and tailored to your lifestyle! Increasing your training or incidental activity and focusing on wholesome, nutrient rich foods with smart portions will be adequate to create an energy deficit.
