Rebekah Alcock

Profile

Rebekah has undertaken a Bachelor of Public Health (Nutrition) and a Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics at Griffith University. She has also completed a Certificate III and IV in Fitness and a Diploma of Health Sciences (in Mexico). At present, Rebekah is engaging in Sports Nutrition research and completing an Honours degree at Monash University on the topic of dietary provisions for Ultra-marathon athletes.

Rebekah has a background in fitness, working with various boot-camps throughout her studies and has also had experience in the clinical setting with conditions such as overweight/obesity, heart disease (and associated conditions), diabetes, malnutrition, aged care and sports nutrition.

Rebekah’s main areas of interest include weight management (body fat loss/muscle gain), blood sugar management, lipid/cholesterol management, sports nutrition, preventative health and research.
